Twenty-first Entry Time to Show What You Know

November 21, 2013

A good night’s sleep.  Check.

A nutritious breakfast that provides brain food.  Check.

Plenty of water to keep me hydrated.  Check.

Hugs from Mom & Dad with many encouraging words & wishes,

“Just do your best. We know you can do it.” Double check.

Two sharpened #2 pencils and an eraser.  Check.

Time to go with the flow and show what I know.

Time to score my personal best.

I will beat this test. I will do my best. Check.

A goal has been set.

It’s one I can achieve; if, I just believe.

I know I can do it; yes, I can.

It’s all been taught to me.

I know what to do.  I know what to expect.

I’ve practiced and studied and practiced some more.

I listened to my teacher and completed my assignments and homework, too.

My teacher has prepared me for this important test.

At home, my parents remind me to read and write and complete my homework everyday.

I know I can do it; yes, I can.

It’s all been taught to me.

I know what to do.  I know what to expect.

It’s time to feel proud and accomplished in all that I do.

I know what to do. Think positive.  Believe and I will achieve.
