Reason Why I Want to Write in Rhyme

RhyPiBoMo

Can You Believe It Is Time for Rhyme?

Prompt #1

Make a list of the reasons why you want to write in rhyme!  We will refer to this list later this week:

1.  As an educator I know that the ability to rhyme is a powerful tool in learning how to read.
2.  Rhyming is a skill that indicates a child can discern phonemes or sounds and is on the 3.  way to becoming a reader.
Every child deserves the opportunity to discover the written word and to be successful in school and beyond.
